Your Foot Pain Might Be Caused by a Bunion
Have you ever heard of a bunion? A bunion is a common foot deformity that occurs when the bones move out of proper alignment and create a painful bump at the joint. Bunions most often occur where the big toe meets the foot, but they can also occur at the smaller toes. These are known as “tailor’s bunions” or “bunionettes.” Bunions typically develop gradually over a long period. No matter where a bunion develops, it can cause pain and difficulty standing, walking, wearing shoes, and engaging in daily activities.
